A Sea of Masks; Authenticity is Drowning

We are born into a sea of masks to be made into puppets.

From the start we are handed masks to wear;

At every turn new masks are continually forged-

to clone us, to cover us, to dis-empower and enslave us;

Resistance is met with punishments.

Masks are forged by others who came before us and were trained to obediently accept them and wear them;

We swim in a sea of masks, changing them every step of the journey, until we no longer recognize our own self;

Every soul crying out for help, is simply drowning in the sea of masks, and aching to be free!

But there are some brave souls who have forsaken that sea to live authentically;

Their light is so bright and powerful;

It oft frightens those drowning in the sea who try to pull them back in.

And some return, for they are accustomed to their slavery and know not how to handle freedom... which requires personal responsibility.

Authenticity... the truth of who we are and nothing more- that is the real cry of the soul; it wants to completely know itself, wholly accept itself, and passionately love itself.

When that really happens, DE-PRESS-ion lifts;

for the soul is no longer pressed down beneath the sea of masks,

but is flying in the winds of spirit where there is VISION, ILLUMINATION, IMAGINATION, CREATION...

And life becomes what it was supposed to be all along... MAGICAL!

None have escaped being thrown into the sea;

we are all the receivers and the creators of these masks;

But we have a choice to let them go.

Light is obscured beneath a cover.

The greatest work anyone can do

is to set about

removing all

their masks!

Let your light shine!!!
